Sustainability at Warwick House
We are making changes to the way we look after our venue, people and couples to make a positive difference to our carbon footprint.
Our inspiration

From the kitchen
Chef have partnered with local suppliers, sourcing meat and produce. As well as developing a comprehensive delicious vegan menu and our standard menu offers vegetarian options..Unfortunately food waste is an inevitable part of running any venue. However, letting food go to waste is not, we are working at significantly reducing any waste produced, where possible, can go to a new purpose.
From the garden
We have partnered with a female run green ethos gardening service, who have implemented a composting system at the venue. With plans to redevelop part of our garden into a herb garden for use in our kitchen.
From the office
We are making ethical choices in stationery, as well as reducing our printing and now going paperless where we can. All our marketing material is printed on recycled paper, printed by ethical companies. We partner with Printleaf for our internal printing, offsetting our carbon footprint by planting trees. Our venue websites are hosted by a Green Hosting provider.
From the venue
We have changed from mini toiletries supplied to guests to large dispensers filled with eco-friendly products supplied in our rooms and public bathrooms. We do routine maintenance checks to make sure all services run effectively, we have changed all lighting to LED and have installed a new heating system to dramatically reduce our energy use. We are passionate about working other eco-conscious providers and are negotiating with suppliers consider and change there sustainable policies.
Moving forward... we want to improve everything we do by doing it more sustainably
We are currently working on our own eco-conscious wedding package and will with our couples to inspire more choice when it comes to eco-friendly suppliers and choices.
This is just the beginning of our sustainability journey and we are working with our staff to promote health and wellbeing as well as assisting with more sustainable choices in travel and lifestyle and invite you to join us in making an impact.
